The Apimondia Foundation announces the opening today of its new “beekeeping information shop” online.
They offer editions of Apiacta beekeeping magazine, volumes of Apimondia Congresses, beekeeping books, dictionaries (like the one pictured here, with beekeeping terms in 24 languages), as well as CD-DVD recordings of important beekeeping events.
David Hatt, a small beekeeper in Beechwood, New Brunswick, is selling all of his beekeeping equipment and supplies.

The Provincial Apiarist reminds NB beekeepers that Nova Scotia bees would need to be inspected in that province before they could be brought into New Brunswick. Permission to import bees into the province is dependent on the inspection results being acceptable.
Twenty strong hives are offered for sale in the Fredericton area.
Price = $175 per hive.
