Want to learn more about Beekeeping? Central Beekeepers meet on the second Tuesday of the month. Visitors and new beekeepers are always welcome!

Most meetings include an educational session, group discussion, or hands-on demonstration for the benefit of beginning beekeepers in central New Brunswick.

The Agricultural Research Centre (”Experimental Farm”) is located at 850 Lincoln Road, Fredericton, New Brunswick. Entry is from the parking lot at the back of the building, at door “B”.

CBA Meeting postponed to 22 April 2008

Please note that the next meeting of the CBA, originally scheduled for 8 April 2008, has been postponed for two weeks. This is so that Paul Vautour, president of the New Brunswick Beekeepers Association, will be available to speak to our group.

Beekeeping Session At Outdoors Skills Workshop for Women

Central Beekeepers Alliance member Gail Duncan will be presenting “The Apiarist in You,” an introduction to bees and beekeeping, as part of the Becoming an Outdoors Woman® 2008 workshop of outdoor skills instruction for women.

BOW 2008 for New Brunswick is sponsored by the New Brunswick Wildlife Federation. It will be held 6 - 8 June 2008 at Green Hill Lake Camp, Lower Hainesville, NB. The registration fee of $180.00 covers all instruction, program materials, use of equipment, meals, shared accommodations, and transportation to offsite locations for the weekend.
